Agatha Christie meets the Pink Panther!

Next Production: Murdered to Death

Elanora Players presents their latest play, Murdered to Death. This hilarious spoof of the Agatha Christie genre is set in a country manor house in the late 1930s, with an assembled cast of characters guaranteed to delight. The play introduces the inept and bungling Inspector Pratt, who battles against the odds and his own incompetence to solve the murder of the house's owner. It soon becomes clear that the murderer isn't finished yet, but will the miscreant be unmasked before everyone else has met their doom, or will the audience die laughing first?

Directed by Tracey Keene, Murdered to Death brings an outstanding ensemble cast together to keep you laughing and guessing right to the very end. Matthew Burke is perfect as the bumbling, incompetent Inspector Pratt, set off beautifully by the younger, but very competent Craig Purdon as Constable Thomkins. Des Smith brings the supercilious butler Bunting to life. Wade Orth plays the dashing Frenchman, Pierre Marceau and Sarah Johnston brings a wonderful glamour to the role of Elizabeth Hartley-Trumpington.  Chris Richardson beautifully plays Dorothy, the put upon niece and 'companion' of the elegant but vague Mildred, brought to life by Vanessa MacArthur.   Ken Reed brings a stiff upper lip to the role of Colonel Craddock and Wendy Knight plays his put upon wife, Marjorie.  Jeannie Sarrington rounds off the cast by bringing mischief to the role of Miss Maple.

To add to the fun, Elanora Players will run a competition at interval for patrons to guess ‘whodunnit’. A prize will be on offer for one lucky person at each show who correctly guesses the murderer. If you are after a fun filled night, with plenty of laughs then book now to ensure your seat as this show is sure to sell out fast.
